Submission Rules

Submission Limit: Members may send in up to 10 submissions per week.

Note: All of our Gallery folders are now OPEN for submissions.





We accept:

We will only accept Sailor Moon related work.

We will only accept original work.

Original Characters (OCs) are welcome, as long as they belong to the Sailor Moon universe. (If this is not obvious from looking at the work itself, please say so in the artist comments box.)

Colored linearts are also welcome, as long as proper credit has been given to the lineart artist.

Fanfiction is welcome here.

Cosplay and photo manipulations are welcome here.

We also accept handmade items (such as plushies, costumes, brooches, etc).

Wallpapers are accepted here, as long as they have been submitted under deviantART's "Wallpaper" category.

Please note that mature deviations are also accepted here, as long as the work is tastefully done and tagged appropriately.

Finally, please submit only COMPLETED work.***


***NOTE: Do to some of the questions I've received regarding this rule, I would like to clarify a few points here:

- It is perfectly fine if you want to submit a finished pencil drawing, and then a completed lineart of that drawing, and then a fully-colored version of the same drawing. We just don't want people to submit half-drawn or half-colored works to the group's gallery.

- This rule does not apply to tutorials or other step-by-step "How I Made This" guides.

- Also, this rule does not apply to fanfiction, unless you just go around submitting half-written chapters, for whatever reason. If you are writing a multi-chapter fanfic, it is perfectly fine to submit it one chapter at a time - even if the story itself is still ongoing.


We will NOT accept:

We will not accept anything that violates deviantART policy in any way.

We will not accept pornography or underage content.

We will not accept traces, copies, or edits of official, licensed artwork. This includes screenshots, manga color-overs, and official coloring book pages.

We do not accept any dolls that have been created by Doll Maker programs (such as DollDivine).

We do not accept works-in-progress (WIPs).

We do not accept photographs of Sailor Moon collectible items or collections. This covers all company-manufactured goods, including (but not limited to):

- dolls
- pre-assembled and painted figurines***
- clothing items
- jewelry
- toys
- or any other "bought" merchandise.

***NOTE: A figurine "kit" that you have assembled and/or painted yourself is considered a "handmade" item - and these ARE accepted.



Just a few reminders


We reserve the right to decline any submission that does not follow our club rules - with or without explanation. If you wish to know why one of your submissions was declined, please ask us through your submission ticket or via Note.


If you are going to submit your work to the individual folders, please make sure that you select the CORRECT folder. If you don't know where your submission(s) ought to go, feel free to ask - or just submit it to the Featured folder.


If you have a pending submission, please do not keep submitting it. We will usually approve (or decline) your submissions within 24-48 hours. (That said, if it's been more than two or three days and you're still waiting for a pending submission to go through, please do send us a note.)


Please submit your own work to the club's gallery, ONLY. Do not submit someone else's work to our gallery. Not only does it add to the Contributors' work load, but many of these submissions are being sent to the wrong gallery folders, and then we have to go into the folders themselves and shuffle things around. (Feel free to suggest Favorites to us - just don't try to send them into our gallery.)
